Several years ago, my father and I were hanging some molding in my living room.  After test fitting and tweaking one piece several times, he noticed a small blemish on the back side and took it down yet again to sand it.  Growing impatient, I remarked that nobody would ever see the flaw.  He smiled and replied that he would know that it was there.

For many years I thought it a shame that his hard work and attention to detail lay mostly hidden behind the moldings, beneath the thresholds, under the shingles and inside the closets of dozens of historic homes that punctuate the Southern Rhode Island coastline.  Now his talents can be appreciated by all thru the beauty of his wood turnings.  It is with great pride that I built this website to showcase my dad's passion for his craft.
